With a packaged solution, the applications are directly connected to your company network infrastructure. File servers are connected to the application service as well as to your network infrastructure.
Companies choosing to use packaged solutions receive the identical care as those choosing to use onison's application services. Your organisation will never have to purchase any upgrades. onison will remotely update your software to the latest version available. A packaged solution is recommended where complex integration into an existing infrastructure is necessary or where you run the application as part your business offerings such as ISPs or other ASPs that run our applications as services off of their servers.
In order to operate a high performance packaged media asset management solution that communicates to your affiliates over the Internet, your organisation must be able to meet large bandwidth requirements and must be prepared to significantly invest in hardware for the applications, in addition to hardware for the original files as well as security, data redundancy, load balancing and large volume back-up systems.
